EBobB: I am sitting here using a brand new, wide screened 22 inch monitor
this morning.

VanceS: if I could do it better, then that's the key to using moodle online

on that weekend....I think it was Thanksgiving here, I got a late s tart as
well.

VanceS: anyway, she was right, i didn't know what I was doing, so np there

EBobB: Well, anyway, I thought it would have been better to put something
up, and then just remind you that it had been done, I thought their response
to you was a bit kurt.

EBobB: Few of us know what we are doing.

VanceS: trouble is there is no manual for this

VanceS: I prefer it that way

VanceS: no problem, I didn't take that badly at all

EBobB: But some of us, like Frances, Helen, and myself and some others, are
becoming fairly old hat with Moodles and the way they work.

EBobB: I think they take a certain "finesse" to work well, ...perhaps
something you learn by watching others do.

EBobB: Sort of like some of the tools that you use so well....I wish I had
the time to practice some of them....but that is part of my sacrifice to
play on the Moodle.

VanceS: we all learn from each other

EBobB: I know....there is just too much out there.

EBobB: ITs like SL, there is so much to know and unless you give it a lot of
time.....

EBobB: I would love to do a Sloodle, but I just dont have the time to learn
enough about SL to put the thing together.

VanceS: Dafne is taking training in teaching in SL

EBobB: Im afraid, I go there, and get so involved in looking around, that I
do little learning.

VanceS: yeah, I find SL to be too time consuming

EBobB: Just this morning, someone had posted to a blog (Leigh, seems like)
that in the new year we should all TRY something new, MASTER something we
already know, and DELETE something we dont use much or do very well.

EBobB: Mayb thats good advice.

VanceS: I guess, but it won't be any easier to follow this year than it was
last

EBobB: Well, wifey is calling me to move some more Christmas boxes to the
garage.....I guess, I should go to keep her happy.....dont want to start off
the new year on the wrong foot.
